  This store was referred to me when I was looking for a carpet remnant and didn't want to spend a small fortune on it. Not only did I find exactly what I needed, but it wound up being half off! A 10' x 10' piece of carpet for $5.!! WOW! Even at full price it was still a bargain. I also found some other awesome, extremely reasonably priced items, and the fellow working there, Clifford, was so nice, and beyond helpful! This will be one of my new 'go to' stores for sure!

  Love the store, the merchandise, and the employees are great, but that kid they have had for the manager for the last /few years makes things miserable for everyone. Customers and the employees. After going in to other similar stores about town I'm not the only one to feel this way. I guess the owners at these other places, about 5 in all, stated to me they hear the same complaints all the time about restore now. It used to be a terrific place at wonderful prices. Now the gu...y expects to get $2.00 on a 1/2 a can of spray paint that originally only cost a buck at Wal-Mart. The employees say they are not allowed to negotiate prices and when asking him or his wife they state they feel their prices are fair so they won't change anything. In the second-hand business and especially when it's all been donated to them in the first place, haggling is all part of it. I can appreciate where the money goes and most of the time had no problem n paying what they wanted, but sometimes I really needed the part and had limited funds. I wasn't asking for more than a couple bucks off at most and nope he wouldn't do it. Even after I explained how badly I needed it and it was an unexpected break at my home that I wasn't prepared to have to pay to get it fixed. NEVER WOULD I HAVE RUN INTO THAT with any other of the store managers or employees. They have always been kind and helpful. Oh btw I had to wait 20-25 minutes for him to even come out of his office just to talk with me. Which I've since heard is where he is most of the day anyhow. So many local residents are saying they won't go there anymore cause the prices now are just way to high. Which really is a shame since its such a needed organization up here. I wonder how much more they could be getting if they only had the right kind of manager, a more caring one and definitely more kinder one that's for sure.
